What do you charge?
Charges for tax preparation start at $115 for basic returns. That charge includes the preparation and E-filing of your state and federal returns.
What information and forms do you need to prepare my tax return?

Social security numbers of everyone listed on the tax return (if we do not already have that information from last year)

Bank account and routing numbers for direct deposit of refunds (if we do not have from last year)

Forms W-2 or 1099-NEC from employers or self-employment

Forms 1099 from banks, issuing agencies, and other payors covering such payments as unemployment compensation, dividends and distributions from pensions, annuities, or retirements plans

Forms 1099-K or 1099-MISC or other income statements from self-employment

Form 1099-INT for interest received, Form 1099-DIV for dividends received

Form 1095-A if you had health insurance from the ACA ("Obamacare")

Information to support deductions or credits you will be claiming, such as child care, college tuition, and donations.

Form SSA-1099 for Social Security benefits
For itemized returns, we will need the following additional information from you:

Out of pocket medical and dental expenses over 7.5% of your income

County excise tax paid on vehicles(can be found on vehicle registrations)

Form 1098, Home Mortgage Interest

Charitable donations

Casualty and theft losses

Miscellaneous deductions, such as gambling losses, up to the amount of winnings
